Insurance-Inclusion and Exclusions


  1. Physical damage arising due to accidents
  2. Accidental Water/Liquid damage
  3. Damages caused by Storm
  4. Damages caused due to Tempest (hurricane, Cyclone)
  5. Damages caused due to Riots, Strikes, Malicious damage


  1. Customer not registered for insurance
  2. Damages arising due to intentional act / negligence or tampering
  3. Damages arising from war, civil unrest, nuclear incidents
  4. Damages arising due to prolonged exposure to Sun
  5. Damages caused due to any illegal activities
  6. Damages caused due to water sport/activity or increased risk travel over water body
  7. Damages covered by Manufacturer warranty
  8. Damages caused due to unapproved accessories
  9. Electrical & mechanical damage, Lightning, short circuit, battery related
  10. Software issues, bricked devices, network operator related
  11. Confiscated by government authorities / law enforcing authorities
  12. Loss due to incorrect storage, mysterious disappearance
  13. Esthetic/Cosmetic damages of Side/body/steel

Documents Required

Note- In all cases of claim the customer should inform Ingram Micro within 48 hrs. of the incident.

Partial Loss

  • Two Photographs of the device. One highlighting the damage and one the IMEI no.
  • Filled claim form
  • Copy of Invoice.
  • Copy of Certificate of Insurance.
  • Bank Account details and canceled cheque for transfer of claim amount
  • Repair estimate & Final payment receipt issued by ASC.
  • Insurer may ask for any other document from the beneficiary,
  • if necessary to establish claim
  • Discharge Voucher
  • Job Loss-Itemized Bill / call history, last three
  • months salary slip from the employer, copy of his ID issued by his company, PAN Card,
  • Termination / retrenchment letter

Total Loss

  • Original Invoice shall be required in case of Total loss/ BER condition/ Theft Claims
  • Original COI shall be required in case of Total loss/ BER condition/ Theft Claims
  • Bank Account details and canceled cheque for transfer of claim amount
  • Discharge Voucher
  • Total Loss other than Theft-Original Invoice / Bill, Picture of the damaged gadget, Survey Report in case Surveyor is appointed, Salvage of Mobile
  • Sim Misuse-Itemized Bill / call history. Incase of theft claimant needs to block the SIM within 24 hrs from the time of theft / burglary
