For the past eight years, John Biswas has been visiting the police station daily in order to find some leads on the sudden disappearance of his granddaughter, Angela. Though the world has changed completely in these eight years, Biswas's relentless quest for justice has never seemed to fade away. The only person whose help the old man seeks is Martin Das, an ex-cop turned priest whose life was altered drastically by the kidnapping of Angela.

One day, after eight years of the incident, a similar series of events take place that echo the mysterious kidnapping of Angela. The cops once again drag Father Martin into the investigation and both try to find new ways to tackle the kidnapping. On the other hand, Biswas pieces together the identity of Angela's investigation from the bits of information that he collects on his own.
